What is the Design Media Center project about?
Design Media Center is a WordPress website that uses the Avada theme. Design Media Center created as a project to practice WordPress but ended up being a nice looking fancy SEO provider website. I personally took all the steps from scratch.
DMC used to serve in OceanWP theme but I recently decided to get its logic to the higher level and I needed a system could handle that complexity. That is how I ended up with the Avada theme.
Starting the job:
As a second start, which I haven’t completed yet, by today May 15, 2019, that was less complex than a first start. I already had all the graphics works done by me or collected and optimized by me for the earlier version. I had some problem while redirecting old DMC URLs to the new one. In time, they will all be recognized by the search engines. I had to write content again because I decided not to use the existing content that I used for the older version.
Safety is a big issue while you are using a WordPress site. As it is the most common website style that you can find, it also has more hacker attacking the WordPress sites. At this point, I had to create a firewall. I have two plugins that I use for the firewall and I use either one for the websites I developed. I’m not going to share what are those publicly to not to make attackers job easier.
I also did the leverage browsing caching in the .htaccess file while already there working on the security additions.
and then what?
DMC project is still continuous. Most of its pages are still under construction. I will come back with the updates later.
